PHUKET DIVING OFF KATA and KARON BEACHES

Let us introduce you to our local dive sites Scuba diving only minutes away by longtail boat: From beautiful corals to rocky boulder formations, an abundance of marine life ensures that you will be enchanted with this underwater paradise.

Phuket diving off Our House Reefs
We also offer shore entry diving. Situated at the south end of both Kata and Karon Beaches, 25 meters from Phuket Scuba Club. Granite and coral formations with max. depth at 9 meters.

Here you can dive with Ringo and some of his friends. Blue spotted stingrays, dragonfish, parrotfish, lionfish and schools of wrasse are common dive buddies. This is where we conduct most of our training dives. Also superb for snorkellers... so if your friend/partner does not want to dive, they could snorkel within close proximity.

Phuket diving off Koh Pu (Crab Island)
This small uninhabited island is located between Kata and Karon beaches and this dive site is only 5 minutes by longtail boat from the southern end of Kata beach.

EAST SIDE: A wide selection of hard corals. Divers can also enjoy the marine life which consists mainly of juvenile shoaling fish. Turtle and octopus are frequently seen. Max.depth: 14 meters. WEST SIDE: This dive site offers dramatic granite boulders forming interesting landscapes. Shoals of yellow snapper and fusiliers, large stingrays and turtle.

Phuket diving on Karon Rock
Situated on the southern end of Karon Bay,approximately 2 km off the beach. Consisting of a large granite boulder surrounded by smaller outcrops of rocks divers can enjoy swim throughs. The top of the boulder is levelled at 8 meters which makes an ideal safety stop where divers can rest with colourful shoals of giant batfish, fusiliers and snappers.

Large stingrays and stonefish are often sighted at this spot. Max. depth: 20 meters.

Phuket diving off Kata Noi Reef
Located on the southern end of Kata Noi Beach (little Kata) and only accessible by longtail boat. There is close to 4 km's of coral reef with an abundance of anemones. A good spot to dive with blue spotted stingrays. Max. depth: 16 meters.

Local dive trips are halfday programmes. Prices starting from 1 100 Baht.
